Dr. Joshua Basha, DMD, is a board-certified dental anesthesiologist who specializes in providing sedation to patients undergoing dental procedures. He is a third generation Arizonan who grew up in Chandler and graduated from Arizona State University. After completing his undergraduate studies, he attended A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ASDOH) to earn his dental degree. During his time at ASDOH, he also completed coursework for a certificate in public health.
To further his training and education in dental anesthesia, Dr. Basha completed a three- year residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. This residency allowed him to gain extensive experience and expertise in providing safe and comfortable sedation to patients.
Dr. Basha is passionate about patient safety and comfort, particularly when working with individuals who have dental phobia or special needs. He finds it rewarding to help these patients overcome their fears and receive the dental care they need.
After completing his training, Dr. Basha returned to Arizona and now enjoys spending time with his wife and large extended family. In their leisure time, they enjoy traveling, engaging in outdoor adventures, playing pickleball, and playing board games.
